The Star of Bethlehem

Where went the heavenly starlight,
where,
that beamed
across our blazing souls?
In times before,
the constellations were
myths and legends;
in times before, I tried to squash the stars in flight.
When the star transpired,
the star of Bethlehem,
the star, he clapped like thunder in the night.
In the starlight
we saw the face of God,
there, when His world
met our moments,
the
centuries without.
Said He, Faith,
advance;
this shall be our unification.
The star of God, the star is our star of light
and
hope.
the Star, He claps like thunder in the night.

Greetings from the booming metropolis that is Pleasant View, Tennessee. I am a man of constant spiritual highs and spiritual lows. I pray that I serve God at my highest even when I am lowest.

    This is so much more than just a Christmas poem. It is a celebration of salvation through Jesus, the eternal star of man. It is a subject more than worthy of honor and praise and deep contemplation every single day of the year.

    The constellations in our sky, they have been named after the false gods of the ancient world. Jesus was the one true star of the one true God. Here I liken Him to the Star of Bethlehem who is guiding our way to everlasting life.
