Winning Words (Considering Ecclesiastes)

Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.

Ecclesiastes 5:2

Winning Words

Minstrels celebrate surviving masses
of fighting and feuding lollygaggers

True soldiers encompass themselves
with words securing the tongue;
Blessed dialogue emits best.

Promises are eagerly proclaimed:
God utilizes the event to
test tempted men and women.

Come now, even now,
winning words shall always triumph.

Greetings from the booming metropolis that is Pleasant View, Tennessee. I am a man of constant spiritual highs and spiritual lows. I pray that I serve God at my highest even when I am lowest.
